Point 3 THC
Cannabis harvest and Hemp
Point 3 THC
You may be asking yourself: How is this legal??
Well, it all comes down to the laws and our lack of understanding the metric system. Let me explain:
As you may or may not know, the Farm Bill of 2018 allowed hemp to be legal in all 50 states. In order to be legal this hemp could not contain more than 0.3% THC by weight. So, in short, if the cannabis/marijuana/ganja/herb contains less than 0.3% THC it is called hemp and is Federally LEGAL!
Here is the link to the FDA's definition of hemp: https://www.fda.gov/news-events/congressional-testimony/hemp-production-and-2018-farm-bill-07252019
This is great for THC because at 0.3% there is no actual limit to the amount of milligrams you can buy or own as long as the THC content is never over 0.3%!
So, what is 0.3% of 1 gram you may ask?
Remember 1 gram equals 1000 mg, so 0.3% of 1000 mg equals 3 mg. Yes, that's right-- for every 1 gram of product it can contain 3 mg of THC and be federally legal!
Your average gummy (with or without THC) weighs about 5 grams. You can have 3 mg of THC for every 1 gram of product thus those gummies could contain up to 15 mg of THC. (5 x 3 = 15)
